Philosophy
You probably know that you’re supposed to have a strong online presence if you are going to grow your business online. But what does that mean? Many people believe that a logo and a website is all that you need to have an Online Presence. However, while a logo and website do play a critical role in establishing your online presence, it is not everything.
Here at Professional Resources, we believe that there are 3 key components to Establishing Your Online Presence. Our services are designed to help you and your business in these 3 core areas.
- Perfecting your branding
- Perfecting your message
- Building your authority
When your audience meets you for the first time, it should be easy for them to know what you (or your brand does). Then as they get to know you, seeing a consistent brand and message helps your audience to begin to trust you.
Your Branding
Entrepreneur Magazine defines branding as, “Branding is a marketing strategy that involves creating a differentiated name and image — often using a logo and/or tag line — in order to establish a presence in the consumer’s mind and attract and keep customers.” It’s clear that while your logo and colors are important, there are other factors to consider as well, the most important of which is your unique selling proposition.
The key is to merge all the elements of your brand into one stunning, unforgettable branding element: Logo and colors, Font, Your tagline. Here at Professional Resources, we will be happy to guide you through the process, or you can choose the DIY approach. No matter which method you choose, though, it pays to put in some work first, so you can have a better idea of what you’re trying to accomplish.
Your Message
Your message is how you share your USP (Unique Selling Point) What’s your Unique Selling Point? How are you different from your competitors? How can you help solve your clients’ problems? As mentioned earlier, your prospects are looking for solutions to their problems. They want to know how you can help them.
Yes, you have to develop a trusting relationship before they make a purchase but you need to tell them WHY you’re the answer they’ve been searching for. How can you relate to the struggles of your ideal clients? Did you have success overcoming the same struggles? Can your story inspire others? How are you uniquely qualified to help your audience? It is important that you be transparent in your message. Don’t make them guess what you do. Share your message so the people that you can help, stick around, and the ones you can’t continue their search.
Building your authority.
It is important that you are sharing valuable content with your audience, so they began to see you as a reliable source of information and resources. There is one effective way to do this, and that is through content creation.
Content creation is about providing valueable, relveant content to your audience while simultaneously growing your name/brand recognition, so more prospects become interested what you have to offer.
Three steps you should do consistently in effective content creation
- Create Content
- Publish Content
- Promote Content
But think of how many MORE people you could attract if you promoted more than just your blog. Your audience members are composed of those who prefer visual references, audio, and reading. Not everyone consumes content in the same way so let’s learn how to attract each of those learners with your different content formats. Unless you are consistently creating, publishing and promoting content, it will be difficult to establish your authority.
